STGC Wins the Red Springs Robotic Challenge

STGC Wins the Red Springs Robotic Challenge

Nine teams participated recently in the Red Spring Robotic Challenge held recently at Immaculate Conception High.

A newcomer to the activity, St. George’s College was crowned Champion Robotic Boys Team beating more fancied teams like Jamaica College. JC is the big boy in this ‘sport’ as they have won a few international awards in recent times.

So we expect the Georgians to grow even stronger in robotics as we gain more experience. Credit must be given to Mr. P. Chickorie from the Industrial Arts Department who is guiding the boys. Again, STGC’s Industrial Arts program is ranked one of the best in the Caribbean. The department is headed by Mr. K. Rogers.

Congrats young Knights.
