Jamaica College takes U16 Title

The Light Blues lost 3-4 by penalties to the Dark Blues in a tough Final.

There was no shame in the Knights’ loss as they displayed wonderful football skills, dominating and controlling the second half in midfield but failed to score until the dying moments.

It was in the dying minute that we equalized and from where I stood missed a decisive goal in the last few seconds of extra time.

Jamaica College was up to the task in fending off our attacks and won by executing their penalties competently except one.

Congratulations to JC in this victory and on their dominance in school boys football this year. They have put a lot of resources into their program and no school can realistically come close to them with respect their recruiting practice.

We now look forward to these Knights with their growing skills and experience taking on the best and winning in the 2018 season

On behalf of the STGC Photography Club, it was a pleasure to bring you all the news of the Manning season and other George’s activities.
