Outstanding Georgian Passes On

Regrettably, we have to announce that Neil ‘Dally’ Dalhouse, STGC Class 1963 passed on Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Neil was an outstanding Georgian. He swam for the school, was on the track and field team and was the captain of the second eleven football side. He was a member of the Drama Club and a member of the cast of 1962 Oedipus Rex production. He was also a member of the ‘Presidents’, a band that grew out of another Georgian Bobby DeMercardo’s home.

He migrated to Canada in 1965 and joined the Armed Forces, worked in the hotel industry as well as in the mining industry. He was a qualified Counselling Specialist with the Workers Compensation Board of Ontario.

He was a one-time President of the STGC Old Boys Association Ontario Chapter and worked on the Executive Committee for many years.

He suffered a stroke on Friday and did not recover. He leaves behind, beloved wife Louise, sons Matthew and Jeffery, brother Francis and his family and may other relatives and friends.

We pray for his family.

May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest-in-peace.
